7 Days Mount Elgon Hike

Visiting Mount Elgon can be exciting and wonderful experience. You will come in contact with many waterfalls (including the Sipi falls). Several caves with pre-historic Writing. you will cross several vegetation zones on the mountain:

The afro-montane forest, the Bamboo, the ericaceous belt with giant lobelia (lobelia elgonensis, groundsels & everlasting flowers) and the heath. The Wagagai peak and the craters are impressive as well you will also come close to wildlife & birds.
