This 3‑day Murchi­son falls Nation­al Park is anoth­er inter­est­ing safari which you should not miss when plan­ning your vis­it to Africa and par­tic­u­lar­ly in Ugan­da the pearl of Africa. The safari will begin from Kam­pala to then to Murchi­son falls nation­al park a jour­ney which will take you to the first activ­i­ty, the rhi­no trekking at Ziwa sanc­tu­ary on your dri­ve to Murchi­son falls nation­al park.

After the trek, the jour­ney will con­tin­ue to Murchi­son falls nation­al park where you will do game dri­ves and a boat cruise that will open to you the Savanah ani­mals. From there, depart to Kam­pala and then to Entebbe air­port and fly back.

Detailed Itin­er­ary

Day 1: Arrival at the air­port and trans­fer to Murchi­son falls Nation­al park

This is the first day of your safari, begin it with break­fast at your hotel and dri­ve head­ing to the north­west­ern part of Ugan­da, Murchi­son falls nation­al park. On the way to the park, have a stopover at Ziwa rhi­no sanc­tu­ary for rhi­no trekking.

Rhi­no trekking usu­al­ly takes 2–3 hours and when you reach them an addi­tion­al hour will be allowed to you in their pres­ence which will enable you to take some pho­tos and video clips. Pro­ceed with the jour­ney to the park check­ing in at your booked lodge late in the evening and being served with your dinner.

Day 2: Morn­ing game dri­ve and evening boat cruise.

Wake up ear­ly in the morn­ing and be served break­fast and lat­er head for a game dri­ve in the park where you will have an oppor­tu­ni­ty to look at many Savanah ani­mals graz­ing in the wild such as the giraffes, antelopes, African Ele­phants, lions buf­fa­los, olive baboons and many oth­ers which will add on your expe­ri­ence. Dri­ve back to your lodge for lunch.

In the after­noon of the same day, dri­ve head­ing back to the park for a boat cruise which usu­al­ly begins at Paraa, a point where most vis­i­tors com­ing to this park start their cruise. The dri­ve will give you a great oppor­tu­ni­ty of see­ing numer­ous aquat­ic ani­mals such as croc­o­diles, frogs, lizards, hip­pos and not for­get­ting bird species res­i­dent in this park. Hav­ing done with your boat cruise, retreat to your lodge for dinner.

Day 3: Dri­ve to Kam­pala. Fly back home

Begin this last day of your 3 days at Murchi­son falls nation­al park safari with a morn­ing break­fast at your booked lodge and then after the dri­ve head to Kam­pala which is also the cap­i­tal city of Uganda.
