This package’s planned activities include a city tour of Bujumbura, a trip to the Gishora Sanctuary, an exploration of Mount Heha, a trip to the source of the Nile in Burundi, a boat ride, a trip to the Inangurire Caves, and a trip to Kibira National Park. Bujumbura, Burundi, is where this journey begins and concludes. We’ve arranged for meals, entertainment, lodging, and transportation.
Day1: pickup city tour and Hotel stay
When you arrive at the airport, a representative from our company will be waiting to welcome you and give you the go-ahead for the trip. You can spend a little amount of time exploring Bujumbura, the capital of Burundi, depending on the time you have available. The Arfic coffee processing factory, where the nation’s cash crop is processed, is one of the spots surrounding the city that have been chosen. Learn how to make tea and coffee and experience its unparalleled flavor. Gift your family after purchasing some trinkets from the handicraft’s village. It’s a good beginning to the five-day adventure. Dinner and sleeping at the inn.
Day2: Visit source of the Nile, Mount Heha and Rusizi National park
After having coffee in the morning, you will go for Rusizi National Park, where you will take a boat tour and observe hippos, water birds, and other wildlife along the River Rusizi. After this adventure, head to Mountain Burundi, the tallest mountain in the country, and enjoy hiking, photography, and other activities. In order to view the silently running waters of the Nile, snap pictures, and participate in some water activities, lunch will be served just on time. Dinner and sleeping at the lodge.
Day3: Kibiri national park
Breakfast will be provided at dawn. When you’ve finished your last drink, head to Kibira National Park to visit “Grottes Inangurire,” which is located adjacent to Mount Teza’s top. The two stunning caves are separated by about 20 meters, one below the other. As you wind down the day with a trip to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, take pictures, relax with the guide, and take in the beauty of the location.
Day4: Go kiganda royal Tombs and Gishara drum sanctuary
At the lodge, start your day with a hearty breakfast. After that, travel to the historical site of the Kiganda Royal Grounds, where there is documentation of the agreement between the Germans and King Mwezi Gisabo, who was present during the colonial era. After lunch, you’ll drive to the Gishara Drum Sanctuary and experience more cultural vibes. There, you will learn about the local residents’ artistic endeavors. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and the night to cap off your day.
Day5: Deperture
After a delicious breakfast is served, guests should check out of the lodge to make their way to the drop-off location. Before saying goodbye to your guide, you may participate in a traditional activity depending on the time of your flight.
