7 Days Masai Mara, Nakuru And Amboseli Safari

This one-full week African safari com­bines a vis­it to some of Kenya’s lead­ing des­ti­na­tions, par­tic­u­lar­ly, Masai Mara Nation­al Reserve, Lake Naku­ru Park, and Amboseli Nation­al Park. You will enjoy only Kenya’s fas­ci­nat­ing wildlife, but also, get to explore the breath­tak­ing land­scapes and unique cul­tures. You will encounter a diver­si­ty of wildlife espe­cial­ly the big 5 game, wilde­beest, birds, and oth­er species. The 7‑day game view­ing tour begins and ends in Nairo­bi capital.

Details of the tour

Day 1: Masai Mara tour, Kenya

At your hotel in Nairo­bi, meet and greet your inter­ac­tive Kenya tour guide. A short brief­ing about this spe­cial 7‑day tour will fol­low, and after, begin your trip to Maa­sai Mara Reserve locat­ed in South­west­ern Kenya. Your road trip to Masai Mara won’t leave you bored, you will have a chance to explore the breath­tak­ing land­scapes en route, espe­cial­ly the rift val­ley escarp­ment. You will be expect­ed at Masai Mara ear­ly, and set­tle for lunch, relax then pro­ceed for a late after­noon game dri­ve or remain at the lodge.

Day 2: Explore the Mara Reserve

Masai Mara Nation­al Reserve is one of the nat­u­ral­ly endowed pro­tect­ed areas in Africa, and today, you will have an unfor­get­table game dri­ve to see the big 5, wilde­beest migra­tion, and oth­er ani­mal species. It will be a long day expe­di­tion, inclu­sive of a pic­nic lunch, and after, you pro­ceed to the Maa­sai vil­lage to enjoy amaz­ing dances, and music per­for­mances from the Maa­sai peo­ple. The Maa­sai cul­tur­al vis­it also lets you explore the Maasai’s rich cul­tures, tra­di­tions and more. Get back to your com­fort­able place of stay for a relaxed evening, din­ner and overnight sleep.

Day 3: Sec­ond day expe­di­tion in Masai Mara

After break­fast, set off for anoth­er day of explor­ing Masai Mara. Today, look out for more wildlife that make Masai Mara a spe­cial des­ti­na­tion in Africa includ­ing ele­phants, buf­faloes, giraffes, warthogs, zebras, elands, wilde­beest, lions, leop­ards, chee­tahs, and birds. Relax­ation, din­ner, and overnight sleep in a spa­cious safari camp/lodge.

Day 4: Naku­ru Nation­al Park tour

Leave Masai Mara for Naku­ru,  famous home to count­less pink flamin­gos and 4 of the big 5 game. Arrive in time, enjoy a leisure­ly lunch and you will go for an after­noon guid­ed game dri­ve tour. The game dri­ve in this park will have you exposed to the park’s numer­ous wildlife includ­ing warthogs, leop­ards, giraffes, lions, buf­faloes, elands, zebras, water­bucks, wild dogs, rhi­nos, and plen­ty of birds espe­cial­ly the pink flamin­gos, and more.

Day 5: Amboseli Park

Depart for Amboseli Park, Kenya through Nairo­bi, and today’s jour­ney includes lunch enroute. Arrive at Amboseli in time, have a warm wel­come from Mt. Kil­i­man­jaro and before you con­nect to check in at the lodge, you may have a short game dri­ve tour.

Day 6: Explore, expe­ri­ence Amboseli ‑full day

Full-day expe­di­tion through the wilder­ness of Amboseli, enjoy the amaz­ing view of wildlife and for pho­tog­ra­phers, this is an expe­ri­ence of a life­time. Large herds of ele­phants freely roam at Amboseli Nation­al Park, plus buf­faloes, chee­tahs, rhi­nos, lions, warthogs, and a vari­ety of ante­lope fam­i­lies, birds etc.

Day 7: Nairo­bi for departure

After a hefty break­fast, expect to check out of your camp/lodge, meet the dri­ver guide for a greet­ing and you will dri­ve back to Nairo­bi. As you exit the park, keep an eye on some ani­mal species, and on arrival at Nairo­bi, set­tle at the lodge/hotel or pro­ceed to the air­port for departure.
