Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kilimanjaro
On the first day of your 7 days Tanzania wildebeest migration safari, you will arrive at the airport in Kilimanjaro immediately you are going to meet the company representative who will brief shortly then drive to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay since you will arrive late.
Day 2: Drive to Tarangire National Park and evening game drive
On this second day, wake up in the morning and start on your drive to Tarangire National Park this park is one of the savanna parks in Tanzania. When you arrive at the hotel, have lunch and head for a game drive. While on the game drive, you will spot animals like elephants, giraffes, waterbucks and predictors like lions, leopards, cheetahs and many more. Retreat to the lodge for dinner.
Day 3: Morning game drive and transfer to Ngorongoro
In the morning after your breakfast, head for a short game drive to spot animals you missed seeing in the last game drive. Thereafter drive to the Ngorongoro conservation area the largest caldera in Africa which is very fertile and it is where the Masai people graze their herds of cattle from.
Day 4: Full day in Ngorongoro
This day is going to be in the Ngorongoro conservation area and it is going to be massive as you will take part in a game drive where you will spot the 5 five animals like elephants, buffaloes, leopards, lions and rhinos. As you are on your game drive, reach the two archaeological sites like Olduvai Gorge where the skull of the old man was discovered. Return to the lodge for dinner.
Day 5: Road trip to Serengeti
Wake up in the morning, have your breakfast then drive to Serengeti National Park where the millions of wildebeest, a thousand zebras and other animals cross the river to Mara river from Serengeti of Tanzania to Masai Mara of Kenya.
Day 6: Full-day exploration in Serengeti National Park
On the day of exploring Serengeti National Park, you can opt to do a game drive or hot air ballooning. Hot air ballooning lasts only for one hour and this hour is spent in the air as you view all the wildlife and the game from above. You can as well do a game drive in Serengeti National Park. During the dry months, you will have a chance of watching the wildebeest, gazelles, and zebras crossing the Mara River.
